    Driving with FLIR

Thermals are nice but they are digital and have a refresh rate you have to think about, I can keep my deuce going pretty good at 40 with my PVS-14s Any faster and I'd out range my IR illuminators. Having tried driving with the RH25 and Yoter-C the minor lag takes some getting used to. But that...

    M35a2 NV4500 Conversions?

I've thought of this many times as having a 6bt and nv4500 in the back of my shop. There are a few older model eaton fullers that 'might' fit Like some of the TO-905 series. Or a 5 or 6 speed with a 1:1 final and a brownie box aux transmission after the transfer case like a 3A65 just down shift...

    5 Ton springs for a m35 bobber

Looking at my rear pack and the front pack I know I need the bottom plates since both the fronts are cracked. Which other spring do you think I could steal? Also if your wondering a rear rockwell with brakes, oil and two 9.00-20s weighs 1037lbs

    5 Ton springs for a m35 bobber

I came to the same conclusion. After way to much searching and only find 2 topics on it by accident, it seems for some reason using 5 ton springs in a m35 is not a popular topic. While it would work I would have to take a few leaf from the 5 ton pack, or add a few leaf to the 2.5ton pack. So I'm...

    5 Ton springs for a m35 bobber

Well I'm bobbing my deuce and I still need to carry a quick question. Would front springs from 5 ton (m818 ) work for a bobbed m35a2? I was going to use front deuce springs and right before I started drilling the holes(well I drilled on hole) I started thinking about how I was going to add a...

    Deuce external fuel pump?

I've already removed all the stock military filters, and have a dual filter system with CAT 1R0750 2 microns and a CAT primary/water separator filter that I'm forgetting

    Deuce external fuel pump?

I still have a 24v system/alternator but its only for the starter, my big 24v power inverter and the 24v hydraulic pump for my crane. Since I replaced all the gauges with autometer z series and converted all the lights to LED there no need to keep small stuff at 24v. Plus the fire department...

    Disc Brake Engineering Thread

I decided to use the line from a international 4700, alot longer than the B700 lines and much cheaper. 7/16 inverted flare at the top mount, banjo at the bottom. part number is H77858 https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-13119-h77858.aspx Was about $20

    Deuce external fuel pump?

Well as a part of my build I'm converting everything on my truck to 12v except the starter, 120v inverter and hydraulic pump. But still have a intank 24v fuel pump. So anybody know of a good 12v pump that I could put on the frame rail? That and a 12v fuel tank switch, planning on dual fuel...

    M35a2 automatic transmission swap?

Rusty, what computer are you using to control the allison 1000? I know this is going to need a Throttle position sensor to get tied into the linkage for the multifuel throttle.

    Disc Brake Engineering Thread

I'm thinking the same about the brakes lines, I'm putting in all 1/4 of the new nickel/copper lines for the hard lines, for the hose, I'm going to see if front lines from a 1994 B700 will work. If I have custom lines I have to a few extra laying around, and the b700 lines are an autozone away.

Yep its only mounted to the bed, but I build a over build sub frame under the bed, that is part of the dump hinge assembly. I cut 20" off the rear frame and replaced with with box tube and tubed out the rear frame section. Now the crane over hangs the hinge by about 16" and the out rigger...
