    2011 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

Hey Sixspeed, can you deliver my title to the rally? I will be there looking for it. Tim

    ODDBALLs M109 w trailer

Don, since I'm a solar type guy, I plan to do a similar thing. But there is no way you can get 10 panels up there. The top is only 12x8. Maybe 6 if you let them hang over the edge a little.

Where to find slave cable lug?

I'm looking for the lug that crimps (or solders) on the cable and then bolts into the receptacle. Do you have the part number from the supply house? The place I checked only seems to have offset lugs instead of straight lugs.

Where to find slave cable lug?

I did check their online catalogs, but you are right. I need to pick up the phone and give them a call. Thanks

Where to find slave cable lug?

I guess no one knows where to get these lugs?

Where to find slave cable lug?

Anyone know where to buy the correct crimp on lugs to repair a nato slave cable? All the lugs I can find have the bolt hole off to the side instead of in the center like the military ones. I tried to test fit one of the offset lugs, but it doesn't look like it will work.

    Today's M-185 Recovery

Just wanted to say Thanks, Dell for all your help getting it off base so I could drive it home on Saturday. The return trip to Florida went as smooth as could be, with no problems at all. I got about 9 mpg. I noticed the speedometer reads high, which I thought was unusual. It reads 59 mph...

Can you legally own a functional T34?

You don't have to register practice rounds, but you would have to register rounds that contain explosives.

Can you legally own a functional T34?

In the US you can legally own a fully functional tank. It has to be registered and you have to pay a tax, it is called a destructive device. You also have to register each live round separately.

    Smokey Alert in Maitland FL

I got stopped twice around Orlando for this. No problems, but I finally just mounted the tag so they would stop asking me to see it. Then I got stopped for no tag light and I explained that I didn't even have to display the tag, but I put a tag light on anyway. It's just a hassle to keep...

    Lockers??

From what I have read, the Yukon sounds pretty tough. However, you have convinced me that for only $200 extra, I will start with an OEM locker in the rear. Just not worth the hassle if it breaks. DUG - If I was doing one piece at a time, I would put the locker in first and then get the hubs...

    Lockers??

If you can lift the pumpkin with a hoist, installing the lockers doesn't look that bad. Since I plan on doing it myself, I reviewed the install instructions for both the ARB and the Yukon. The Yukon actually looks to be easier to install

    Lockers??

I've been thinking about the same thing and I think I can get by for $778. Take a look at the Yukon grizzy locker, it is only $389 delivered. Here is what I am going to do. First put 1 in the rear and then put 1 in the front. I don't think I will even notice they are there. If drivability...

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

I definitely want some, just trying to figure out how many I can afford. I also need to get some rims. Now what happened to those $100 HEMMTT wheels?

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

That sounds awesome. Can't wait to get some.

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

Wow, does it really have to be 1.25" thick? That is alot. I don't expect it to be the same price as the other adapters. I'm fine paying 50% more, just would really have to think about it at 100% more. I really want the 22.5" wheel option as well.

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

That's not for wheels and adapter plates. That is for adapter plates only. You have to buy the wheels separately either way, regardless if you get a 10 bolt adapter or a special HEMTT adapter. I just figure a 10 bolt adapter is more versatile.

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

I think $1500 is too much. You can get a set of 6 HEMTT adapter plates for less than $700. I would pay up to $1000 for the added versatility, but not $1500.

6 bolt to 10 Bolt wheel adapters

Seems to me this is the best way to go, I would buy a set. With this you could use unmodified HEMTT wheels, 5 ton wheels and commercial wheels. Much better than creating a custom wheel that only fits a deuce.
