    So after posting about replacing all shocks and realizing I needed front springs to remove tire rub issue, I replaced the front springs. SWEET and relatively easy in the driveway, with no help, oher than the dogs looking at me through he fence!!! Now she rides with the nose in the air...

    Finally got around to replacing all shocks. Got the 5000 series rancho's. I also installed 33x12.5x15 pro-comp MT's on all 4 corners.     WOW!!! 300 bucks???? I got a 30MM ammo can cut 2 holes in it and installed cup holders (marine) for about 65 bucks, I had to purchase 2 1/2 hole saw at $20. I still need to apply arm rest to top, but it works o.k. without padding in the interim. I will add eyes to each side to allow locking...

    I'm looking at adding the gauges, but want to keep the idiot lights. Did you keep lights or just replace with gauges. If you kept gauges what additional connections did you use to add the gauges?     and last couple for Monstaliner install.... I think the 1 gal application will be thick enough. I don't haul anything but people and dogs in the truck, so shouldn't see too much abuse. If it looks like it's getting beat up, I'll apply the 2nd gal in the next couple of months.... shelf life of 12...

    I did the Monstaliner Bed Liner install this past weekend 6-25/6-26-11... Only used 1 gal of 2 gal kit...... It looks GREAT.... Still smells a little but the truck sits closed up all day in the heat. I hope the smell goes away with time!!!! Here are some before pics

    Started stereo install...... pics to follow. I used "nibbler" to trim the stock radio hole. WOW how cool is the "nibbler" tool!!!! I figured it would take forever to cut through dash. and then I mashed the trigger on the "nibbler" and I was practically done..... IT's an AIR POWERED...

    Finally got around to changing rear diff fluid..... I "learned" that the front and rear diffs take different gaskets, also discovered the rear diff housing was "damaged" looks like it bottomed out and the cover took a good hit, bent but not leaking I decided to purchase "new" cover. O'reilly...

    Dragon, Look before drilling, most if not all M1009's were wired to accept the radios for the military. There should already be a hole were the original wires came through or still might be there just cut off. Mine are still there, but the distribution block in the rear is gone.

    In the last few days.... I have replaced all the belts. replaced DS alternator, did the Doghead relay conversion checked all the fluids Oh yea helped my son pull one of his "buddies" out of mud..... M1009 didn't even break a sweat!!!!!

    Did the same thing all over again, the correct way this TIME!!! Replaced front hubs with WARN hubs 1st one took me hours to remove and then couldn't get it to go back together with new hubs. The second one took me about 20 minutes...... Apparently I am a FAST learner Almost attempted to replace...
