What did you do to your deuce this week?

Sunday I got rid of an old pick up truck and had to move my Bronco (not running) into the spot the pick up came out of. I towed it back as far as I could with the Deuce then positioned the Deuce behind the obstacle that the Bronco had to be pulled up against and used the winch to pull it back...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The seller said he originally bought it for a 5 ton but it was too short by a step. It fits pretty good on the deuce. It has two hooks on the top that look like it would fit over a round bar or something.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Not really sure what it is off of. I picked it up at a show in PA a few months ago. It looked the right height and the price was right so I bought it. It has lettering on it but the only word I can clearly read on it is "trailer".

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Helped a friend move stuff out of his storage unit to his new house today. 2 loads with the Deuce, would have been many more loads with his pickup.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Scored about 30 more gallons of free fuel. A friend of mine put me in touch with a guy at the gas station he works at. He had the Diesel / Gas mix in 5 gallon buckets. Apparently putting the wrong type of fuel in vehicles happens at lot more than I realized. Might want to check with your local...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Both radios are Motorola CDM 1550, one in VHF and one in UHF. remote heads installed on both with the main body of the radios under the drivers seat. I have the auxiliary speaker wired from the radio into the aux input of the VIC 4 intercom. I can hear the radios through the headsets. I would...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed the VHF in the Deuce on Friday. Yesterday I took it on a little off road adventure. Of course the Deuce was voted the coolest truck in the group :naner:

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's exactly what I did. Mixed 3/4 of the mixed diesel/gas with 1/4 wate oil in jerry cans and transfered into truck that way. I mainly added the oil since I didn't know what the exact ratio the diesel/gas mixture was.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Scored about 40 gallons of free fuel. I drove the Deuce over to my friends garage last week and we started talking about the multi fuel engine. He asked if the fuel can be mixed, then told me he has a 55 gallon drum filled with a mix of diesel and gas (more diesel than gas) drained from fuel...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I installed a new sending unit for the fuel gauge and completed the install of my UHF radio. I have a few more items to install on the 12v side and then I'll clean up the wiring a bit and secure it

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I have a 24v to 12v converter going to a fuse panel under the drivers seat. I posted up the beginning of the install a page or two back.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Dis some more on the 12v system today. Installed a master switch for the 12v system. I will eventually change it out to a military switch. Hooked up power to the tank drain heaters, installed a power outlet/USB, and installed interior lights.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Erik's Military and industrial surplus has various Dash Indicator Lenses ranging from the standard red to blue, amber, clear and green. Has anyone tried just changing out their lens? I would assume the clear lens would give a good result.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yesterday I started to install the 12v system in the Deuce. 24v - 12v converter, fuse panel, a switch to activate the electric brake control, and a mount for one of my radios (there will be 2, 1 VHF and 1 UHF). I want to put in a toggle switch to turn the system off when not needed, install some...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally installed the spin on primary fuel filter I got from Jatonka, aired up the tires and did some minor maintenance today before it started to rain. As my budget permits i'll be ordering the spin on secondary fuel filters and oil filters as well.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Fixed my cab top today. When I took it to work for the Veteran's Cruise over July 4th weekend the stitching came out over the windshield. Made for a nice cool breeze coming in driving down I-80, LOL. Well, I glued the seam with Pliobond 35 and then put Gorilla Tape along the length of the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

We did two Veteran's cruises at work on Saturday. I brought the Deuce down to help honor our Veterans. A great time was had by all.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

These valves let the moisture out, they are also heated with their own thermostat so that the moisture does not freeze in the winter. I still need to wire up the heater.s The idea of these is that they let the moisture out when it builds up instead of having to crawl under the truck to do it. It...
