Hello,
I just purchased a 1984 cucv m1009 blazer with a 6.2 detroit diesel. After playing with it this afternoon I have some questions. What is the switch that is depressed as the gas pedal is applied? Also when climbing hills I can here a sound that sounds like a hand crank winch being wound in. It only happens when I am climbing hills and giving it some gas to maintain/accelerate speeed. I also am wondering what the generator lights mean as the gen 2 light goes off but is still dimly lit at and doesnt fully turn off unless the engine is reved up. Finally I cant seem to find the switch to turn off the high beams. Any answeres would be great.
Thanks,
Miles
