How do you get the intake manifold around that myriad of wires....?
The manifold went back on easier than I thought it would.

After a road test today to the gas station, I saw a fuel leak. Base of the fuel filter canister. The fuel hose's were dripping fuel. Trimmed the rubber hose a little and put new clamps on...no leaks now.

Just got back from Miami (setting up for gun show)110 mile round trip. Pulled the trailer down and back with no issues.

Hey, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything.

little update: I’m at my daughters place in Huntingtown, Maryland. Leaving for south Florida on Saturday night.

The CUCV-II crew cab will have over 220,000 miles by Sunday.

I just put new tires on the front from Costco ($628.00) 😳.
The old tires were 2016 date and the steel belts separated on both tires.
I’ll probably buy new tires for the rear next month and use the rear tires as spares.

Replaced the sway bar links ( way overdue )
Might have been one of the reasons why the front tires failed. Making U-turns puts a lot of weight on the outside tread.

Transfer Case went out.
Made the trip back to Maryland in Nov and came back Jan 15th. In North Carolina I was traveling around 75 mph when a car passed me on the right and jumped in-front of me and hit their brakes.
When I hit my brakes the Transfer Case started making a grinding noise and I had no forward motion.
I pulled over on I-95 looked it over and then moved the 4 wheel selector into Low and Hi a few times.
I was able to get it to move so on my way I go....( you couldn't let it coast or it would pop out of gear and you would have to stop again. also max speed to make this work was 55 mph)

This went on all the way to the Georgia line when the 2 Wheel drive finally stopped working ( lots of noise in the Transfer Case)
I was able to get in going in 4 Wheel HI at 47 mph all the way to West Palm Beach.

I hit WPB stop and go traffic and no longer could i keep it moving....I tried 4 Wheel Low and was able to move, so I exited I-95 and drove the back street 30 miles to home at a max 27 mph.

This is the first Transfer Case to go out in this truck( over 220,000 miles). My other Tan CUCV II single cab went through Two Transfer Cases.
