That is definitely not the same speedometer.My new M1152 has a mechanical speedometer installed. I thought all M1152's had the electric 80mph speedo's installed. Was this an upgrade done later on? I have found the kit for the whole setup, part number 57k4882. And has anyone tried the Oshkosh LVS speedo, I looks the identical.
Thanks! Now to piece together a kit. I've found them complete but for $850. A little much for just a speedo.
Electric. It swaps the mechanical sender off trans with a pulse generator.
Why swap a simple system with one that can fail?
Just so I know how fast I'm going after I hit 60. I really like the way the speedo looks compared to the mechanical, and it matches the tach.
I think they did an upgrade to 2006 trucks at one point. Mine is serial 242000 range. What is yours?

Does your truck have the gear driven fan? Or or hydraulic engaged? Mine doesn't have gear drive.
My fan is hydraulic clutch and I have a Dexron cooled rear differential.
I think the 300xxx and higher trucks got all the upgrades.
I think it's a GPS speedometer. I wish someone made a mechanical speedometer that went up to 80.
