2010 Haspin rally BS thread

Well my Haspin trip just got cancelled by work. I put in for the time off 2 months ago and yesterday it came back denied. I work in the manufacturing department at work and we build/ship systems to a 3 month forecast which let see that there was nothing pressing during that time period to prevent me from taking the time off. Yesterday they added 2 systems to the dates over Haspin that only I know how to test/qualify.

I am bringing a 100 foot parachute to haspin for shade for the group, Crusher has the flag pole that will support the chute. it will provide protection for a lot of people, it will be given to the person who travels the most distance to get to haspin.

Might be coming with my deuce and a secondary truck, I am close to purchasing a M715 Kaiser in my area. It's fire engine red now, but I will sand and paint it green prior to the trip.

i've never been to haspin, can i get a 53' semi trailer(camper/toy hauler)in there? or is the roads/campground not up to that?

It probably won't be fun, but I bet you could. Be warned, if it rains you will have a bad day.

yes you can get a 53 foot trailer in there... the tractor trailers park on the upper lot.. nice and flat, hard pack dirt and wood chips. No problem!! And if id does rain.. I think if you get stuck there might be a truck or two to pull

One of these days, we need someone to show up with a tracked vehicle. I think something along the lines of a Weasel or a Half-Track would do. Just to be the first to do it. We can only wish....
