Suspect your data plate is not original then. Any info I give you would be incorrect. You, and everyone, need to valid your frame number against the dataplate.

Validate your frame number with the dataplate. My database is showing two vehicles with this vin number. The date of mfg is most likely 1953. this is an old gasser converted to an A2.

Do you have any Idea of the manufacture? I am assuming that the data plate was replaced by the army. I will try to find the vin# on the frame tonight.

Thanks
Ryan

Ok I checked the frame number and it matches M35006. Is there any way to determine the manufacture. Also is there any way to deturmine any more history because if this is #6 built which my buddy at the museum thinks it may be I have access to a gas motor and I would restore it to it's original form.

Thank You
Ryan

I'm limited to only what is in the database. You may want to consult David Doyle on this website to see if he can confirm if this was the 6th built and also who built it.

Hi CARNAC,

I don't know if you will be able to do much with this one but it's worth a try.

It's a 1964 Dodge M37B-1 Wo/W.

A. Serial- 2668013578
B. Registration- 3E4197
C. NSN-2320005424636
(the truck has FSN 23205424636 on the dash, but this NSN should be correct)
D. I purchased the truck from a private party in eastern Washington; he picked it up at action from a rural fire district that recieved it through the Civil Defence program.
E. 6A 124ARC 92 AVN 13

I know it was probably stationed at Paine Field in Everett, WA sometime between '71 and '79 based on the bumper numbers.

Thank you,
Collin

Bought it from a retired military guy who claims he bought it from a fire department that bought it directly from the military. I got it in Missouri. Under his spray paint camo job was green-yellow paint and could see fire and rescue on the side.

If More info needed will crawl around the thing to find any other numbers I can

Thanks

I was able to track the vehicle back to the 200th Logistics Management Center TAMMC that was out of K-town Germany.
