Today's projects

Fixed the fuel shutoff; the plunger was bent so it would not slide within the nut, and the handle in the cab was missing.
I installed a set of oil filter adaptors to accept spin-on-style filters. This seems like a significant improvement.
Identified the fuel leak in the line running from the side of the injection pump to the rear of the fuel filter
I discovered a missing air filter. Hopefully, the cylinder walls are not trashed from grit.

After looking at the TM, I should have a nylon line with a compression fitting. I ordered some fuel-rated lines and new OE-style fittings.


I should be able to get the fuel filter replaced and the oil changed tomorrow. Then, back to waiting on parts. The truck builds air pressure but does not hold it, so I might try and track down some air leaks if time permits.
