Would a 6.2 out of a CUCV work as a replacement for a 6.2 out of a m998?

I have every thing still on the m998, fuel pump, alternator etc.

thanks, Mike

Identical. You will need to use the 24v fuel shutoff from the HUMVEE

The oil pan, exhaust manifold, pulleys and IP top lid are different. Along with the oil psi sender and temp sender. Everything else is the same. Do a new rear main seal when swapping oil pans.

Some additional differences that come to mind :
The coolant cross-over pipe is different due to the HMMWV fan switch
Tachometer drive. The CUCV has the vacuum operated tach drive and the HMMWV has an electrical unit.
Mechanical Trans modulator connected to IP throttle lever on HMMWV
