923 trans filter?

The MV's are designed for heavy duty off road use. The redundant filtration system is there to help for the extra effort put out by these trucks. I suppose when you're out in the field for extended periods of time (ie: war), dropping the pan is probably least likely to happen. So the incorporation of the spin on would at least be done on a "routine" basis...hopefully

How much oil dripped down your arm changing the pan filter? That pan weighed more than I thought it would.
What kind of gasket on the pan did you use? A cork one came with the filter kit I used (military) but the one that came off was a black one of what I would call "traditional" gasket material (thinner). The black gasket wasn't seeping at all but the cork one looks like it is starting to seep. I torqued to the upper end of the spec in the TMs. I hate leaks.
