I'm at work and can't call Aaron, so I tried live chat. Here's what she had to say...

info: Please wait for a site operator to respond.

info: You are now chatting with 'Heidi'

Heidi: Welcome to our live chat service! How may I assist you?

RR: Hello Heidi! I bid in event 3577 that ended August 28th. I sent in my EUC immediately. I did not hear back from my EUC specialist until last Friday the 12th, I forgot to date the EUC pg 2. I immediately resent it to Aaron Marner (my EUC guy). The email in bright red letters says that if I haven't sent in an acceptable form by tomorrow that I will be charged a 25% default fee. I sent my EUC to him again yesterday. I still haven't heard anything. I'm getting a little nervous that I'm going to get charged the fee when I'm doing everything I can!

RR: BTW, my customer # is XXXXXXXXX

Heidi: I can see your frustration. One moment while I take a look.

RR: Thanks!

Heidi: If you sent in the revisions, you should be fine.

RR: OK. I just want to be sure because the email says "The EUC deadline is, 09/17/2008. If a DRMS-acceptable EUC form has not been received by then, your account may be placed on hold until a 25% default fee or $30.00, whichever is greater, has been paid."

Heidi: When did you get that email?

RR: I'm trying to send it in correctly buy Aaron seems to be taking forever to process anything. I know its not your fault, but there are sales that happened after this one where people have already gotten their EUC's approved by the DRMO!

RR: 9/12

Heidi: If you got the email on Friday, and have sent in the revisions after the fact, then you are fine.

Heidi: Is this your first EUC?

RR: Ok. Thanks for looking into it for me!

RR: Yes

Heidi: Generally first requests take longer for the EUC approval.

Heidi: And no problem.

RR: Right. I understand that. But should it really take over 3 weeks to even get sent to Battle Creek?

Heidi: My pleasure.

Heidi: Sometimes it may. It just depends on how busy they get in the EUC Dept.

RR: Yeah. Hey, well, thanks for your time! I appreciate your help

Heidi: Sorry I don't have more answers in that regard.

Heidi: No problem.

RR: Have a good day!

Time for another update.... It has now been revealed that Aaron is a new guy and working very slowly. They also have now given him up to One Month to process EUC's from ONE sale.......

info: Please wait for a site operator to respond.

info: You are now chatting with 'Meredith'

Meredith: Welcome to our live chat service! How may I assist you?

RR: Hi Meredith. Remember me? The delayed EUC! I was wondering, is Aaron Marner in the office? If so, can you find out if he is going to process the revisions I sent in for my EUC on Friday? He sent me an email that stated I would be charged a default fee of 25% if it wasn't processed by today! My customer number is XXXXX

Meredith: The EUC department leaves the office at 4pm, so he is gone for the day.

Meredith: I have a little bit of an update for you. He has been very backed up with processing and is a new processor, so he IS working as fast as possible, and your deadline has been extended from 9/16 to 9/24, so you do not need to worry about being defaulted.

RR: Argh. I'm getting really frustrated! I can't even get him to respond to any of my emails. I don't even know that he got my revision. I don't know where in the process my stuff is. Frankly, I'm worried about the truck I bought. The longer it sits on base, the better chance of it getting picked for parts!

Meredith: I understand your frustration and I apologize for the delay.

Meredith: If you would like, you can send the revisions to me and I will directly forward them to him.

RR: A little backed up? =) People who bought in sales event AFTER 3577 have already had their EUC's approved by DRMO. Could you pass on my frustration to a supervisor or something? Maybe let them know that Aaron needs some help?

RR: I can if you want. Its just pg 2 of the EUC, which I forgot to date!

Meredith: Management is aware of the situation and are assisting at getting things moved along.

Meredith: I will send him a note along with the revisions to follow up with me so that I may let you know the status.

RR: Sorry, I'm not trying to take out my frustrations on you! You've been nothing but helpful every time I talk to you

RR: OK, where can I send it?

Meredith: I understand. No problem.

Meredith: Will you be emailing or faxing?

RR: email

Meredith: info@govliquidation.com

Meredith: Put my name in the subject line.

RR: Ok, hold on a second..

RR: Ok, it's sent.

Meredith: Let me check...

Meredith: Alright, I got it and attached the note for him. He will respond tomorrow and I'll contact you via email, or if you would like you can come into live chat and I'll assist you here.

Meredith: Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

RR: Thats it! I'll be working most of the day tomorrow, so if you could just reply via email that would be great! If not, I'll try the live chat when I get home

Meredith: Not a problem. Have a good night.

I was chatting with Meredith this morning here in Korea. I sent here my EUC in email.Meredith just took my EUC to Aaron this Thursday morning in Korea your Wednesday afternoon and he approved it on the spot.

Now get this, I emailed it to him last week with only an email saying he got my first email nothing more sent the EUC to Meredith and she walked it over to him and now I have two EUC's on their way to Battle Creek.

I want to get them both approved so my sons can make one trip up for the recovery. Final date of approval 16 September for me on this sale

I think she would have done the same for me, if he had been in the office. I trust that she will take care of it for me tomorrow. She has been very helpful thus far.

Well here is another email that i got from a diffrent email that i have other then the one that GL has or uses for my stuff. Something is up with this auction in it self as i have never got anything before on any other auctions other then this one. I know its just spam or something but still kinda wierd that it only happened on this auction..

Dear Valued Customer,

We received a faxed EUC form for sale 3577 from you this morning. However when looking up your account I found that you were not the winning bidder on such sale, the information you provided on your paperwork was limited so I had to search with what I had, please check your Past bid sales and make sure you were the winning bidder and if you are please re submit your EUC with your customer number included.

Thank you,

I had an email from Aaron on Monday saying that my EUC was incomplete and that I needed to sign and return (fax ok) an export letter. Funny thing is that I've had one of those on file for a year or so and was under the impression that that was a one time only piece of paperwork, and I've had several EUC sales recently that sailed right through.
So, signed and returned the letter yesterday.
Email recieved saying that they have it.
Website still says that my EUC status it "submission pending".

Not at all the service/turn around that I have been getting for the past year on EUC review/submittal to Battle Creek.

I have always sent the signed export letter with every EUC I submit, along with a clear copy of my driver's license and concealed weapons permit. Four pages, every time, but then, I have been known to wear both a belt and suspenders!

I think the new kid is the issue. I querried Meredith if they had enough folks working this sale and she told me she is not the manager. The sale payment due date was extended because he is behind. I do not see it as an excuse since the maximum effective range of an excuse is zero meters

Just talked to Meredith again via live chat. She walked over to Aaron's desk and got the lowdown. Everything is set on their end, will be on the way to Battle Creek tomorrow morning!!! YAY!

Robyn: Give Meredith a pat on the back for me. She has been the most helpful CSR out of the 3 or 4 I've talked to.

Meredith Rocks it may be time to start a best GL personnel thread I would start it with Sarah at Fort Meade then Meredith and Robyn.

Yesterday I talked to her I have a good new chat printed out saying the EUC is approved and this morning the 19th in Korea it still shows pending...

Since everyone here who is having issues has the same EUC specialist: I think we know where the problem lies. I seriously have to wonder what this guy is doing. Robyn, I don't know what your position is at GL, but maybe you can talk to someone about getting this guy some serious help. Really, nearly a month to just review an EUC and send it to BC is out of line. Maybe you can just look into it for us. Personally, I don't care if you tell us that you do or not, as long as you do it!

RE: customer notified (paid in full invoice) 3577

My EUC stutus changed to "Sent to Battle Creek" on 9/17... Longer time to review that I have had for the entire process on all my previous submittals (with the exception for the first one). Now, to wait on the black hole...

Nice thing is that the guys and gals on the base (GL, DRMO, Gate) are all really good to work with, so everything will be smooth sailing once the EUC clears.

And just think....sale 3590 ended 09-04-08. Eight days later....09-12-08 "Derby" and myself picked up our two M51A2s and brought them back.

I feel for you guys dealing with 3577
There is a management problem at GL. Seriously, if I hadn't hounded the poor live chat girls every day for the last 3 weeks, who knows how long it would have taken. Being new is no excuse. At this rate, he will NEVER catch up.

Seriously this is a joke it took the guy three days after having the correct EUC handed to him by Meredith to send it off to Battle Creek. I just checked and it finally went on the 19th of September trouble is the other sale at the same site just came back approved so now I have to work out the issue with the site for a delay in the pick up since I need to have them picked up together.

Good luck to the rest of you on this sale

This Aaron fellow handing 3577 is a joke. I had to fax him the original EUC TWICE and the corrections TWICE more. My EUC status STILL says submission pending.

I kinda hoped to take the truck I won in August to the GA rally in October. It's a good thing I didn't make solid plans for that.
