Anyone repair / replace spare tire nylon webbing? Mine is worn. Thought about getting some webbing, but I don't sew : )

Mine may be available. Ditched the OEM system for my camper project, it's yours for the having but gave some other stuff away earlier so need to check if I still have it. Can check in the next day or so.

Yes. If 2" yellow nylon webbing is acceptable.

fyi:

Any local sewing shop can likely handle making/repairing webbing, but certainly any canvas shade or sail shop.

Keep in mind that the older stuff can get pretty stiff, so as far as repairs go ymmv.

All that is really needed a heavy duty sewing machine with a heavy-duty needle.

The trick to cutting it clean is to use a *really* hot blade (and don't pull on the webbing, just enough pressure to keep it tight). Again, a sailing or canvas place will also have a tool for clean cutting as well, but I always used a blade.

Nothing wrong with a used takeoff, though. As long as it's not be dipped "surplus gold" and sold for $500....
