Does it have sides, bows, and cover? Tri-color or tan? Any plans for her? Imagine inspections will still be rather strict, right? Where is she coming from?

Still say this green iron stuff can become an addiction. LOL

G'day everyone,.....

The M105A2 is Camo and has all bows and cover.

I now have to move it from the east coast to the west coast where my shipping agent is,....

This will come back in a shipping container.

For those with a sharp eye in the second photo in my post above you can see that the trailer is in fact a M105A1 so that sale was terminated.

I have now gotten a M105A2 with a CBC hardtop and will be moving it to my shipping agent in about a week.

I am however looking for a set of cargo/troop seats, bows and cargo cover for it so I can have it in standard configuration as needed.

Ah the joys of this green addiction.
:)

Well I just found out today that my M105A2 will be delivered TODAY, earlier than quoted.

What a brilliant job!

Thanks United States of Freight for a job well done!

This whole thing went smoother than I was expecting.

Just found out this morning my M105A2 and tow bar is on its way home.

Should arrive around the 26th of this month and I may get my hands on it within a week of that date.

Just to update my postings here My M105A2 arrived safe but then had its connection cable severed by a reckless forky pushing the trailer around.

Also ripped a data plate.

Yesterday the new replacement cable arrived so will have a small job to fit that on the weekend.

All the toys are home.

Well before I put my Deuce back to work looks like I will have a chance to put it in its FIRST car show!

On Sunday the 5th if all go's well I will take the Deuce to its first show and now the interior seats have all been recovered it looks Great inside!

This should be interesting,.....

Well today I collected my Deuce, just have to change out the coolant.

Tomorrow I'll take it to my 4x4 club meeting so that I guess will be its first 'Official' showing.

Then the following Sunday I'll take it to its first Car Show.

Had a play with the NOS towbar,....

Well here I am again, I was just looking for an old farm light truck to use as a general use workhorse.

I wanted something smaller than the Deuce.

I came across this ex Australian Army International Harvester C1500

Int_army_1.jpg

It runs and drives according to the seller.

It was advertised as a project or parts truck.

When I said I wanted to save it and restore it for use suddenly the seller tells me he has 2 trucks, he was going to use one as a parts truck.

Also he has a spare gearbox and a NEW engine from the army still in its issued crate!

Here is a restored C1500

I may do this one up as a 'Zombie Outbreak' truck.

(If I get it)

Am going to look at it Saturday.
