bad water pump?

What are some ways to tell if you uave a bad water pump ina m1008

Do you have issues?

Leaking is the most common issue.

Dittos on leaking. I've only seen one that had a rusted off impeller. If it's over heating and there's not a puddle on the ground, it's something else.

If it is leaking. Verify that it is indeed coming from the weep hole at the bottom of the pump shaft, and not one of the lower pump bolts. They go through to the water jacket and require sealant.
