Currently i have 4 batteries seriesd to 24v and parralleled for 1500 CCA. If i replace them with 2 truck batteries with 1050 CCA will I damage the starter or anything else? If not how will this effect starting?

Many of us run just two batteries, myself included.

When it gets cold, two might be marginal. But generally two is fine.
