Blinker assembly

the headlights should work with the dimmer on OFF. I wouldn't mix the wires. Try a new light switch.

I swapped the front blinker assembly out, matched the wires up from the markers and still no BO lights. Before I swapped the assemblies, I could unlock the switch, turn the headlights on w/o turning on the panel switch. Now the headlights will not come on w/o the panel switch engaged. Did I some how ruin the 3 toggle switch? If so, why would my headlights still operate? I read the TM and it shows to match tag #s on wires but blinker doesn't work when matched up. What am I doing wrong?

Who knows . But the B/O lights will NOT come on when the headlights are on.

Just leave the panel switch on DIM or BRIGHT. The dash lights will still shut off when you turn the top lever off.
