Here are a few pics from a couple weeks ago. We won first place as best decorated vehicle, YAY..
My employees decorated the Deuce and rode through the Christmas parade.

Thats a good question..
Well we were using a power inverter but it had an accident right as the parade started. But we still won first place......Guess we got an A for effort!

Accident....was there fire?

There was no fire, just the power inverter blew up. I think the generic 24-12 volt converter was the culprit.

Very nice job. If I was home for Christmas I would have the Rudolph nose on mine and have it at the end of the drive.

did similar with mine a few weeks back (lights in the bed only) but i just used two 12volt inverters and balanced the load on each, one inverter hooked to each battery, wasn't ideal but worked great.

Maudoose, nice work and KUDOS on your good showing in the parade. Kennys, I like the idea of a rudolph nose. That would look great on a Deuce. I am trying to think of what to use for the orb. White beachball and a red light?

I did a similar thing a couple of weeks ago, ran an inverter off of 1 of the 2 batteries. It was only for a short time (<20 minutes) so I don't think I hurt anything.
