Obviously done while in service, just wondering if it may indicate overhaul/replacement, etc...

Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Someone fixed something on your engine on Dec 5, 1995.
ULLS-G has also been replaced by SAMS-E (Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced). There's a -1E box at the company level and a -2E box at the SMC or higher echelons. It's been too long for me to remember with any clarity, but I seem to remember our AMSA kept track of every job on every piece of equipment through the ULLS-G system. The number on your valve cover could refer to a job number, but good luck in trying to track that down as the job numbers were not shared or reported to any higher echelon system that I am aware of.
No matter ULLS-G or SAMS-E, the bottom line is you wont be able to find out who did what and why.
