Ok so my sockets came in yesterday and decided I would try and tackle the drivers front today.
Socket is a little loose but I guess that is ok, it is an OTC socket and I ordered the ones referenced here in the threads.
Put my 450 ft lb impact on it and no joy. Broke a ratchet with a 5 ft breaker bar, tried again with my craftsman ratchet and just bent the breaker bar. Tried the chisel and hammer and I'm just taking metal off.
Heat is my next option but the grease catching fire scares me a little.
Any suggestions as I'm all out of any, if my impact couldn't break it lord only knows how tight it is.
