I bought mine and put it on my m1009. When I took off the old one a question popped into my head.

"Exactly how does this part go bad and need replacing?"

They tend to get clogged up...however when and how seems to differ. Seems to be more common on civy trucks as I hear about it on other forums but it seems to be a rarity here. The military used our trucks less than equivalent civilian trucks so that probably explains it.
