since i brought this back to life, i may as well post a pic of how my equalizer is mounted.

That looks real simple. Is it as wimple to install as it appears?

yep - it really is as easy as it looks. as soon as my blade fuse block gets here I'll be running a line from the 12vdc tap over to the fuse block under the dash.
