One of my deuces will be parked outside so I'm looking for some sort of cover for it for the winter. Do any of you guys use covers?

Do you have a cargo cover on ypu truck? If so, why not buy a canvas tarp for the front of the truck from Sportman guide? Just a thought... If you don't have a Cargo cover yet, PM Warthog, he has some nice used covers.:grd:

Seems awhile back someone was using an ATV or a riding mower cover. The ATV covers have a drawstring so a person could tighten it down.

Yup, sorry, went to the world100 race and I still haven't sobered up. Scared of nylon?
No. But I wonder how good it would work as a cover. Wouldn't water will go right thu? Since it is a thin, lightweight material, wouldn't wind have a tendency to lift it right off? (parachute - duh) Covering a rectangular vehicle, with a round cover? Call me crazy, but it doesn't sound like the best idea. That said, it would be cool to have a big parachute. Maybe make an emergency downhill braking system for a deuce?

Yah, just go down to HD or Lowe's and buy a quality tarp. Great pic Mike, it's 70 degrees out right now but that pic is making me start to shiver. Hard to think that weather's right around the corner.

I use to have a neighbor in the sign business and he gave me a used sign/tarp, the type that go on billboards on the highway. They are rather large, but easy to cut to size. May be hard to find but I'm sure there is a sign co. somewhere close to you.

I sure am glad I live down south .
We may see those ice sickles every two or three years for about 8 hours.
But it was over 100 for two months straight this year.
the sun is what tears things up.
