One of my deuces will be parked outside so I'm looking for some sort of cover for it for the winter. Do any of you guys use covers?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Be sure that they are snow rated for x amount of weight.Might be a bit of overkill, but Clearspan makes tent like buildings to park trucks and equipment in. Some are sized for just one truck or rv size vehical.
You mean parachutes? Arent they made out of nylon fabric?Kipman here on SS got a huge lot of cargo parashoots. He is selling them cheap. Send him a PM

No. But I wonder how good it would work as a cover. Wouldn't water will go right thu? Since it is a thin, lightweight material, wouldn't wind have a tendency to lift it right off? (parachute - duh) Covering a rectangular vehicle, with a round cover? Call me crazy, but it doesn't sound like the best idea. That said, it would be cool to have a big parachute. Maybe make an emergency downhill braking system for a deuce?Yup, sorry, went to the world100 race and I still haven't sobered up. Scared of nylon?
