Body of tank was assembled to "URALTRANSMASH in December 1990. In 1991, the complex has received military index 1K17 , in 1992 was accepted for service. The collapse of the Soviet Union and the fall of the Communist Party overthrew the former authorities. With a collapsed economy and stopped many defense programs. I would just like to thank USSR for posting all of these pictures and information. I was a child of the 1980s and grew up fascinated with Soviet military machines. In a sentimental kind of way I sometimes miss the Cold War.
