Tom, it sure did. I have some of the emails around here when I was grilling Tom Bauer about the project. It was set up similar to a C-60 Chevy IIRC. I gotta see what I've got here.

Not to give another monkey a wrench here but has anyone ever considered a hydroboost split system? I know it's slim as Multifuel guys don't have the accessories needed, but I've got a pump on my CAT that I could use for that or at least mount an H-boost pump in it's place. I wouldn't think that running pressure to inlet, then outlet pressure to inlet pressure of the next, then outlet back to pump return would be that difficult. Usually the pressure outlet goes to the steering gear but what the hey...you know?

Hey Guys, Finally rigistered. I'd like a copy too. Something I dont understand is why they would split the whole system including the master cylinder and put on a common fluid reservoir??? Correct me if Im wrong, it spings a leak and drains the whole system.

I know this thread is old, but did anyone ever used a M105 brake for the rear axle as the first poster mentioned?

I have an M108 Light crane that has a military upgrade on the brake system, t uses 2 trailer air pack/master cylinder units and a split brake line system for front and rear. Air packs are actuated by a suspended air brake pedal/valve out of a 900 series. This truck will put you into the windshield if you push too hard on the pedal. There were 2 of these built at Romulus Army Depot, the other one is history.

I have one idea about using the brake system off of a M105 trailer to work one axle on the truck. Separate the rear tandem and run it off a M105 (or commercial) air actuated hyd master cylinder. This can be controlled off of the trailer air supply line. Then if you loose brakes on the front two axles, you will still have the park brake and the rear tandem.

This is an interesting idea, especially for somebody who has purchased a trailer to bob a Deuce.

It would be worthwhile to know is any of the brake components on the M 105 trailer are the same as those found on the Deuce. Like the diameters of the master and wheel cylinders


This would seem to be a good place to start.
