Dustless Media Blasting

Has anyone else used this? They use a crushed glass water slurry mix. I just had my M37 bed done ($250). After talking to the guy and looking on the net; it is way faster than regular blasting and takes 1/6 to 1/10 of the abrasives normal sandblasting would use. They claim to be able to do a car in 1-2 hours with 8-9 bags of crushed glass. It also looks like there are companies spread across the country.

Wonder how much different it is from the sandblaster attachment for the pressure cleaner?

I looked into buying a unit. Around $40K with a compressor (up to $75K for a big unit).

~$5K for a small unit without a compressor. And up to $30K for the largest unit.

yep, 15K is the number I found. It doesn't distort the surface either.
