He'll be back.

For how long, is up to him.

10 infraction (points) in 3 years. Less than half of them given my me.

Spaced apart long enough to only get short times off.

I believe all members can look at another members "infractions" when looking at their profile info. Maybe only us moderators can(not sure).

From the site rules,
Infractions/warnings:
When a user steps out of bounds, the board has a feature to give what is called an infraction to users. There are two levels of this. A warning and a point bearing infraction. A warning is simply "Please be aware that you shouldn't do that". A courtesy notification if you will. A point bearing infraction is a "ticket". These tickets last for a year total. Repeat offenders will have a compounding effect. The repercussions of an infraction are as follows:

1 point = just a point, but you keep it for a year.
2 points in 365 day period = 1 day ban.
3 points in 365 day period = 1 week ban.
4 points in 365 day period = 1 month ban.
5 points in 365 day period = permanent ban.

Discussion of infractions is between the member and staff. Not public debate. *We reserve the right in extreme cases to bypass these steps and permanent ban a member if warranted.
Looks like he has 2.5 days left, until he may return.

It's not hard to post within our site rules.

It's not hard to play by the rules.

fwiw, private warnings were given and official warnings were given. Some people react to this as "threats" or spankings or other ridiculous reactions, when in fact they simply need to head warnings and understand what we want, and how to play by our(moderators) rules and guidance.

Back to the thread topic please. No more hijack, and no more public debate/questioning please.

DSCF3757.jpgDSCF3757.jpgI picked up the 5 wheels at the sand blaster tonight at 1800. And by the time I was in the house they were all blown off and had sealer sprayed on them. DSCF3758.jpgDSCF3759.jpgThey are back in the barn for the night. Tomorrow I will put the finish black on the back side of the wheels. Have a great day.

DSCF3753.jpgThis is the mix sheet from the PPG sealer i am using F3985 Fleet service grey sealer. Firefox was asking. The paint is Lusterless Alkyd enamel. Got it as outdated paint from a military base. They were discarding it. Turned it in to Safety Clean. Go figure. i seen them discard unused new ATF and motor oil.

I was out in the miserable weather tonight for a bit. I positioned my rear window and windshield to be put back in the M1008 in the AM. $80. to do both. Not worth the effort or risk. These guys put them in in 10 minutes. I used to. Used to. I also removed the stock civilian dash corner speakers that I installed in the truck 20 years ago. I also removed the radio and will be putting a close out plate back in place. Bought all new lenses for the side front marker lights, grille marker/turn lamps and tail lamp lenses. The lights all came with new screws. Recycled them already in the scrap bucket. I will post pictures tomorrow. I have an M1009 Mule to complete. It is supposed to be warm and sunny. Not damp and dreary. Take care and have a great day. I am expecting a visitor from a fellow member tomorrow.

DSCF3763.jpgDSCF3764.jpgToday I had the glass company install the windshield and rear window back into the M1008. It was $80. Easier to pay $80. then struggle and break it by myself. Besides it was tough enough for him to work back in. The window rubber had shrunk quite a bit after being out the past 2 years. No damage to new paint was another reason I left a professional doing. Money is like a tool when you use it wisely and correctly the job gets done right. DSCF3778.jpgI opened all the new lights. They look very nice. DSCF3780.jpgDSCF3788.jpgPainted the rear tail lamp housing with bright aluminum. DSCF3790.jpgDSCF3789.jpgI changed the light sockets. The grounds have been bad for a while. The wire was stripped and forced into the socket to ground the bulb. It worked. DSCF3792.jpgDSCF3791.jpgDone for the day. 10 hours today was enough. Have a great day.
