Think about this... the stock tires on a Humvee are about 180 lbs, if you upgrade to an alloy rim and a lighter tire (not run flat) you can bring that weight down to where you shave about 300 lbs of rotating mas on your truck, now... multiply that X 8.4 that is the equivalent of about 2,500 lbs of static mass less on your truck, that has to improve performance and mileage FOR SURE ! not to mention that a lot of us circulate with dangerously year 200x tires. (almost had a real bad accident)
Having said that this upgrade has to be cost effective and look great, what do you guys suggest when it comes to rim and tire that conserves the military look of the truck in the approx 500 a piece (tire and rim) range...?
