Well john is doing the wiring on the M5 i decided to work on Fred's Ferret is being at least 6 or more years since it ran so the two most known problems with Ferrets is gas tank and brakes , so we clean the tank about a year ago to the best we could with out pulling it out which is big big job especially on the MK2 because its turret even do we have a good spare that is of my ferret so we did a good primary fuel filter and a secondary by the carb which you can see the fuel in also put a electric pump because the manual was bad and that's another big job. so we got it running had to pull it out with the HMMMWV cause brakes where jam wedrove it around a few laps around the shop and pull it in to the work shop once it broke loose and i tell you does engines run like a sewing machine , got it of the ground pull wheels off and drums took all the brake cylinders out of course full of junk and stuck but got them apart and also master cylinder going to overhaul all the parts once we get the pistons out which are stock, all the shoes and drums are like new so it once we fix all the problems with the parts and new DOT 5 fluid should be nice to drive here are some pictures
