We are meeting Friday evening out at the Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch. Lunch on Saturday is around noon at the C&Js on Texas Ave in Bryan. The Sheriff's escort is still on. Unless I hear otherwise, I think a little mini show in the C&Js parking lot after we eat is a good idea.

Less than 2 weeks til the Rally kicks off. We will still like to see some more MVers sign up and are open to any more suggestions to help make this a good starting point for future rallies.

The first annual TX MV Rally is going to take place the weekend of March 13th and 14th in Bryan, TX at the Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch. The gates will be opening around 6pm Friday, March 12th and we will need to be out by 6pm Sunday, March 14th. The cost for the location is $400 for the whole weekend. This will be divided among those that attend, so the more that show up, the cheaper it will be for all of us. The location has multiple sites for camping, camp fires, fishing, off-roading, seperate men's and women's showers as well as an indoor meeting area. Please let me know if you are planning on attending so I can figure out how much it will be per family.

Darn it I just saw this. I actualy came accroww this be accident and there is no wya I can make it on such short notice. Please do another one this summer and I will definatly make it. I have two 109s and 4 M35a2 and one M820 and one 30KW gen on a trailer that I can bring also and am trying to buy a M813 and if any of them sell I will be sure that who ever buys any will also be there or I'll just breing the guys that work for me and we will each drive one. The park web site says the trails are closed due to all the rain. It isn't going to get better this week either:

Announcements

Have they said anything to you about us still being able to even be there?

I don't know about everyone else, but I plan to get up, load up and head out Sunday morning since I have to be at my grandmothers 92nd b-day in Houston later in the day.

Charles, you still have my number from the airshow, right? Call if you need anything. Steve, Kwai, plans to be coming up from Clear Lake Friday as well. The last I heard he planned to come to my place, pick up a few things and then convoy over to B/CS with me.

I am going to be at the gate Friday at 6pm and we have the park until Sunday at 6pm. Everyone is free to come and go as they please. I just got off the phone with the owner and he said the park is good as of right now for us to use all of the trails, but if it rains, we will be restricted to the front half. The only scheduled event I have right now is the convoy into town Sat around 11:30 for lunch, followed by a mini show if people wanna come look at the trucks. We will have a Sheriff's escort the whole time we're outside of the park for security and CYA purposes.

what's going on for sunday? looks like the only day I have off this weekend
I would like to sit down on Sunday with everyone that shows up to go over what changes we can make to the next rally to make it better.
We also have 2 or 3 people that don't own deuces yet who may be interested in your truck, since its for sale.

Starting Monday, after this one is over, I plan on getting together with a couple guys so we can start planning the next one. We would love to have you and your fleet at the next one.

Guys, it doesn't look like I will make it after all. Two weeks ago, I was literally doing nothing. Now, everybody's in a hurry, and I will have to work this weekend.:-? Good luck, and hopefully I can be at the next one.

I must also respectfully, and unhappily, bow out. :(

Work has just decided that they need my Saturday more than I do, and since they are the ones who provide the paycheque...

Nofear- since I committed to this and am cancelling late, let me know what my share of the fee is and I will send it to you. Thanks for all you put into making this event happen.

Have fun, and I will look forward to the next one.

Cheers
