Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Have you read the operator's manual about driving(fording) deep water? It will tell you to install the plug. -and where to find said plug.I was crawling around under my new m925a2 and saw this plug missing?? in the tranny? looks like in flywheel cover? Shouldn't that be plugged, especially if I get into any water...

The -10 TM is only 486 pages and should be read by anyone operating one of these trucks before operating , one for safety and two it will prevent costly repairs from improperly operating it .yeah having the truck for two days and 90% of the time I'm out the checking stuff so hasn't given me much time to read all 3k pages. I've downloaded all the manuals and I typically search them all but when you don't know the technical name for something it's hard to find it in the manual unless you have the time to read every single page. I do plan on printing the manual and having it bound. I hate pdfs, but do like to be able to search them but I searched flywheel and didn't find anything. Thanks for the info though.
Yes, we preach READ the manuals but you are absolutely correct about it being difficult to find something in them.yeah having the truck for two days and 90% of the time I'm out the checking stuff so hasn't given me much time to read all 3k pages.
