Last long drive I did I was keeping steady at about 55mph and got 6.3mpg. I'm willing to bet if I was going convoy speed at 45mph it would have been closer to 7.

I can't explain why mine was originally getting such terrible gas milage besides the obvious high RPM's at 55mph. But with over 2,000 miles on it prior to the gear change and checking it a few different ways, thats what I was getting. It surprised me to, but with no trouble codes or any other obvious cause I just have to accept it.

Keith also has an A1 with a C7 cat. Perhaps his economy is due to that. my 3116 sees a bit over 6mpg with factory gears.

That's weird my 1084A1 with the C7 gets 5.8 mpg at approx 60 mph, and it's almost 9000 lbs heavier.

IDK I run the MRAP CTIS computer which I believe keep the tires at 100psi, versus the 75.

So you lose 1 MPG for the added axle and weight? That does not sound too bad of a trade. Percentage wise it is huge, but by absolute numbers not so bad.

Where do you get this info.? The chunk is marked 3.07 and the housing is marked 6.14 finial drive.
