front brake drum

got a question about the removal of the front driver's side brake drum. to remove the drum, is all that has to be done is to remove the nuts on the front of the drum and slip the drum off?

You need to pull the hub off, the nuts around the drum have bolts put in from the inside which will turn when you losen them.

To pull the drum, all you need to do is remove the two nuts on the spindle, you are correct. If you have trouble getting it off, see if the brake pads are in contact with the drum. If the drum spins freely, the pads shouldn't be touching.
