the trick is to turn it off the instant that it starts to run out. then it will have enough fuel to restart much sooner without priming.

I had an OEM sending unit but it went with the truck I just sold. If I'd seen the post prior I would have made you a deal. I didn't swap mine out as I didn't really want to drop the tank to do it.
