While I do agree you need to blast all that mud off the axle and under carrige, If your knuckle boots are not in top shape, you should repack the bearings. At least onpen it up and look.

I agree. As soon as she's all cleaned up it will be ok. I hope you have your own washer or don't get caught at the local car wash - they don't like this stuff - ask Rat. :)

LOL - as soon as they see you there they'll put up a big sign - a pic of a deuce with an "X" thru it!

Well, I got back from the car wash, and so far, so good, I think my steering is
ok now. I need to go on a longer drive to be sure.

Next time I'll bring more money, $5 was barely enough to get the front tires :)
But that's what I was worried about anyway, so she'll get a proper wash later.
