Hello all,
My son's 1985 1028 is experiencing some type of problem which I believe is fuel related. It runs fine for several days or more and then after sitting for a few days will not start. If he bleeds the fuel filter, then it usually starts. Little by little, we are eliminating many red herrings, but have yet to find the culprit.
We have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel tank, and the fuel lines from the tank to the fuel filter.
We are beginning to wonder if it's something downstream from the fuel filter, such as the injectors or the injection pump.
Any suggestions as to which red herring to chase next?
