The turbo exhaust gasket that CAT gave me was fully rectangular without the bolt "bumps" on the short sides. Probably irrelevant. Make sure it's got a fire ring though. It's going to see ~60 psi of pressure.

I’ll visually look at the existing gasket. It took forever to find that thing. It was in a turbocharger install kit from cat and in the kit all the o-rings and gaskets that I had posted in the image earlier. Which gave me confidence that this is correct for our engine. Plus the last image it says factory fit 3126 with my engine serial number.

Yeah looks right. Just not what they handed me. Probably you'll get the same thing I got. End of the day it's a standard T3 divided port turbo gasket. They are under every rock from a million suppliers.

They look like the are sold in many thickness variations from single sheet metal to multi layers to cat design.

You want an MLS (Multi-Layer Shim) style WITH a fire ring to prevent the exhaust gasses from working their way between the layers. If you want a really high quality (better than CAT) alternative, this is one option:

Tried the SIS 2.0 on the website, pretty lacking in some details, but actually seemed to use my trucks serial number instead of saying "can't find" like the main parts search. (this is for a C7). However, there are two options shown with different quantities.

Thanks, With all the parts individually I plan to go to Cat tomorrow and see if they have a kit that has most of the parts then purchase what’s missing individually.

We just pulled our HUEI pump today. What a tetris game to get it out of that space. I finally pulled the cover from the fuel pump where the fuel lines attach and took her out in pieces.

I see you removed more of the wiring than I did. Like separating the block connection to the injectors and that other bundle between the HUEI and the head. My struggle was getting past that piece bolted on to the head below the high pressure oil inlet on the head, in front of radiator connection and between the main oil feed steel pipe up from the pan.

You planned it out much better I did. What else do I need to think about going back in? Pulling a cover off a new (reman) pump is not on my wish list—
