Has anyone mounted one on their 5 ton and if you did , did the EGT's go down, still flipping quarters to do mine.

I can get a rebuilt one for about 300 and already have a new Chinese clone that I don't want to put on, I don't have room for the inter cooler with the Ac condenser in front so I am trying to see if someone done it without and if it helps before I spend the money if not needed.They are cheap through parts yards. Get a used one, put a kit in it, and be done.
Agree. Tell us more about injector options (separate thread). Are the marine ones a bad option like the diesel boards say they are in 5.9L applications (wrong spray angle = idle haze, smoke, and high EGT's)? I think you sell 8.3 injectors, are they marine and how are they on idle haze, smoke, and EGT vs power increase? Thanks.
Yes a lil more info would be great I am not looking for a race truck but I do have a load all the time, camper wind resistance and would like to pull a trailer which weighs about 10k when fully loaded with me, tried pulling it and at 60 mph I sustain right at 1150-1200 on flat level ground and this is just to hot for comfort it will go to 1300 on overpasses and that's after I usually shift down to 5th or 4 forth depending on steepness. I tried a modified turbo from a (turbo guy dont want to say his name) which was supposed to be a new modified holset and it seemed that the temp increased, without changing anything , but I am not sure about the guys work , he said I would be getting a new turbo modified for more flow and the turbo looked like it was off a wreaked truck, and I don't want to go down that lane again would prefer to buy a genuine holset turbo new or rebuilt from a reparable company if it would work.
