Rear seal has started to leak. Anyone replaced it or should I just buy a rebuilt one?

I bought a rebuilt one from AutoZone - it was $98 (at that time) with core. Lifetime warranty, also came with the backing plate.
I never changed one before; so it took me approx 3 hours or so total to R&R it. The two nuts inside the cab where the worst. Thank god for air tools.

Yeah but you get free shipping. It takes $35 to get the thing to the free shipper. Do you have a local autozone? If so I think most guys have said Autozone is the least expensive.

They may be all the same manufacturer or they may be different. A lot of rebuilders copy the part numbers from the big guys so they do not have to make a catalog.

All were rebuilt by CARDONE according to the brand given by the part #.

Yeah, I went to the local AutoZone and they had to order it in. Came in next day with my core.
Obviously doing that you don't pay for the shipping.
A good deal, plus lifetime warranty.

Auto zone $82 bucks easy swap. The auto zone I went to was a "hub store" the parts are cheaper at that location than other locations.
