Are those going to be scrapped entirely? Or would they let you pull parts off of it? I see some I could use...;-)

Most scrapyards here in michigan don't sell parts , the state has a whole bunch of different licenses they have to get for parts. Some recyclers sell parts , mostly because they don't want to deal with the sale tax.

I could buy all if wanted. No PM’s yet.

No idea if MRAP, I would think MRAP is old by now and they are onto the next thing? Doesn’t MRAP use solid axles? I really only know M92xA2 stuff.

I can’t run around and do quotes/weight/measurements, I’d venture to say you need to be prepared to spend about $500 minimum per. I’m not going to pull parts. All or none, but will grab one if somebody is serious.

Thing is with assemblies in a scrap yard, they might well be damaged, unserviceable or just plain broken. Then again maybe not...but that is the gamble.

More info on this. They are Arvin Meritor units, from an assembler such as AM General but not AM General. I am not going to spill beans on who dumped them. They have air locking diffs, and axle disconnect solenoids on them. They are brand new, zero damage, spin freely, and backlash feels like a new diff would, just a slight click each way. They weigh 1250lbs each, and they have 14 of them. There were a few strut assemblies also, these were massive. The coil diameter was just enormous, length also.

MRAP axles on eBay look solid, unless these are the front? No idea. There is no through-shaft on them for additional axle drive, they are dead ended.
