so just for giggles i went out to look at the wiring some more, disconnected drivers side alternator and insulated all of the cable ends and secured to the harness with a zip tie, the truck now charges at 15.5 volts and the starter and everything functions as it should, once it gets warmer i will dig out the starter to verify its 12v or 24v but i can at least go around this hurdle for now and continue working on the rest of the truck, im sure this will be revisited in the future but we shall see
i did choose to leave the alternator in place for now just to see if i need to get it hooked back up itll be a little easier for me to get it hooked right back up
