Has anyone swapped these lights for led's and if so what lights did you get and how is it done?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
This really needs to be its own thread.I have what some might think is a pretty dumb question, in 240v single phase operation on an 803 is each hot leg rated at 52 amps or is that both legs combined 52 amps? I have seen some people's YouTube videos showing an amp meter and some are pushing anywhere from 25-49 amps on a single leg. Just wondering what rated wire to use when hooking up the auto-transfer switch.
We do not do short text messaging here.Got my new bulbs in today and got them installed, since they never worked to begin with, is it procedure that when the BS switch is toggled up that the CI switch light illuminates as well?
Just before I stopped contracting, the army here in germany started to install a lot of quick disconnects on gen sets anyway. Not sure about other gear, but gen sets. And the MEP-831 has always had it, I think. Can be a good idea, but I tend to think that when ever you fool with something often enough, it breaks, or gets loose. Or goes missing. You get the idea. Using CB-1 always seemed to work for us.I use a quick disconnect on the ground cable. A former Marine told me that they used to pop open the CB1 to keep the batteries from draining over time (unused). I like the quick disconnect.
