LED Taillights?

Has anybody installed these LED taillight kits from LMC Truck? Are there other LED taillight kits from other sources which may be better quality?

My Son had them on his Mad Cow Disease M1028A1. He used that truck had and I don't recall any issues with them.

Nice, but kinda expensive ! Wouldn't just purchasing some new LED bulbs for each side be easier..........AND far less expensive?

That's what I did, but if your housings are shot, this might be the way to go.

Paint the housing with Bright Aluminum spray paint and replace the lenses. Good as new.

Guys my housings are shot and the rubber bulb sockets are hard and brittle. The passenger side taillight/brake light works backwards, even though the wiring is correct. It's time I replaced those things, just wondering if the Chinese LMC units are any better.

This is Mad Cow Disease with the LMC LED taillamps. Also with 24 bolt HMMWV wheels and no lift kit. 1984 M1028A1.

So does that mean the Chinese LED tail lights from LMC have Rick's Master CUCV Seal of Approval?

OK. I guess so. But you still need to figure out your tail lamp wiring issue before you install these lamps.

There's a ground point behind the right rear taillight housing. Seen the ring terminal melt away, lose ground!

I bought a set and the work great, fit good too. Mine have a small micro switch on the back to change them from 'normal' to sequential flashing, that works good and is different. I was worried about water getting in at the switch so smeared it with silicon and then found out the sequential blinking seems to play with trailer lights for some reason.
Bottom line, I would buy them again but dang they have gone up in price!
