LMTV door hinge lubrication

Does anyone have a success story how they lubricated the front door hinges without removing them? The drivers door is normal but my wife’s side is pretty stiff.
The problem is not lack of use either. As we are traveling for nearly 4 months this year. She gets in and out more than I typically with help backing up and such.

I put red tacky grease in the slide bar tract under the door itself and changed the whole feel of the door ! You will be surprised !

The lower track can make a big difference, but for the hinges, a penetrating oil worked quite well. My doors were extremely stiff wife and kids couldn't move them, greasing the track and oiling the hinges now they swing easily.

MAC 1370 chain and cable lube spray from NAPA or elsewhere. It has a low viscosity penetrant, then leaves behind a film of heavy lube. I use it on the hinges and on the door limiter track underneath.

This didn't get much traction, but i'm back home and removed the door limiter on the bottom of the door and the door was still very stiff. So I've have been spraying penetrating oil on the hinges for a few days and working the door open and closed 50 times after each application. Tonight the rain clouds rolled in and cooled us down to 80 degrees and it actually got worse...... any new ideas from all the great wisdom here?

Is the door adjusted correctly so that its not in a bind? my driver door had been replaced and took a lot to get it working well. Standard bolts in metric holes, bent bottom track, and then the handle breaking about the time i got its done. Doors can be a great time.

Problem solved. I removed the top which requires a lot more labor because you have to pull the entire door off. All to discover it wasn’t the top hinge causing the problem. Proceeded to remove the bottom hinge. Put it in the work bench vise and now you’re able to get full range of motion, like 40 more degrees of movement. Next it was just a matter of pivoting it back and forth a few thousand times not even kidding. Adding lubricants and turning it upside down a few times. I went from needing a barely being able to move it to a slight touch and got full range of motion. Reinstalled it and without the bottom limiter on it, it swings shut with the slightest touch.

Keith, was the bottom hinge bent? Or just misaligned?

Neither, just age and moisture caused the bottom hinge to seize up.
