I picked up a GM steering damper (AC Delco 509-616) for a K5 and its 4+ inches shorter than the one I just pulled off the front end.

What are you guys running for a damper on a stock M1009?

Thanks in advance,

Bert

Thanks Hasdrubal,

I found out the Chevy garage gave me a damper for a two wheel drive. aua The counter person didn't listen to what I was telling him.

I went to the NAPA store and purchased the Monroe part that you recommended.
