M1009 vacuum pump replacement and where to buy

Is there anything special about changing out the vacuum pump? Also where is the cheapest place to buy one? Thanks for the help.

Check with Doghead here on the site.He had them for sale with all the info you need to change it out.

I got my vaccum valve off ebay. But I got my pump from O"rielly auto parts.

I got mine from Autozone .. life time warranty.


Pull it out and slap it back in

No problem to change, remove the one hold down bolt and pull straight up and it will come out.

Doghead has the Vacuum Valves for the Injector Pump, not the vaccum pump itself.

The pump should be available at most local parts stores.
