:ditto: I was looking at that one today when I was out there picking up a "normal" 105a2. whichever unit that did it did a good job extending the fenders.

Cool. I like it.
I often thought about putting a extra rockwell axle on the M105, and fabricate a driveshaft to run that axle off the rear axle of the 5 ton. Just thinking???:p

My opinion - if you want the same size trailer with a heavier load capacity, put a M105 trailer body on a M200 genset trailer. You will have up to 2-1/2 tons of capacity.

Ditto of the footprint of the trailer, adding wheels won't make the suspension or frame any stronger.

In addition to the other points made (width and GVWR increase), seems like a good way to carry a couple of extra spares tires?!?
