One of my good friends was in town for Easter weekend and we were able to put in quite a bit of work on the truck ! Probably close to 40hrs over the 4 days to get the cab stripped, scraped, sanded, pressure washed, ZEP degreased, masked/taped, and sprayed with (2) coats of Lizard Skin Sound Control and (2) coats of Lizard Skin Ceramic Insulation.
Lizard skin was THICK ! It was like spraying cake batter. Despite it's $100 price tag for what it is... the Lizard Skin spray gun kit did excellent and was worth not having to track down something equivalent and build my own kit... just wish it came with a second pot because they went fast. Probably reloaded the pot 6-8 times in the 1.5hrs it took to apply each coat.

Draining 5gal/50% of the coolant to remove the heater box from the cab

Heater box removed

Cab fully stripped

Ceiling/hatch cover & walls sanded. Spent several hours scraping/heat gunning the wax coating off the inside of therear corner panel. Can still see some wax in the small square-ish holes on the bottom rear of the cab by the M16 cradles

Sprayed with[ URL='https://amzn.to/4jD4wAG']ZEP industrial degreaser[/URL]

Masked/taped off

And finally sprayed it with (4) cumulative coats, each about 0.5mm thick. It was REAL swampy in there in a tyvek suit, respirator, gloves, eyepro/earpro, spraying a water based rubber coating in the summer in the south
Standard disclaimer of use a Respirator and 3M Organic Vapor, Acid Gas, NIOSH, P100 filter if you're going to spray insulation or paint in any confined space.

Texture came out pretty good I think ! Ignore the plant parts/pollen...
Next up, Air Conditioning install (including one piece parking brake/trailer air manifold) ! With maybe a sidequest or two to replace leaking marker lights and apply some Rust-Oleum Flat Black to the unpainted instrument/power panel on the dash.
